Do you know, a super woman is born, out of an igniting effervescence? One such epitome depicting a woman of Par excellence is Dr.Bala Kumar. For instance, IAM falling short of words to unfold this stupendous journey of a Successful Woman, hailing from a Poor family to being honoured with the BEST WOMAN OF THE YEAR AWARD IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION 2019.
How the legacy unfolded...
Born in 1962, at Thanjavur in a poor family, comprising 4 girls, and a mother. Demise of Father at an early age left the family bereaved. The eyes which were ought to dream future, was filled with tears. Instantly, that little girl gave up her toys and began to work. She funded for her and siblings education. "Today, we have no grain left for our dinner" sobbed the mother. "That's okay mom we all are not hungry at all, let's have lots of water to quench thirst", replied little girl. Malnourishment caused the deterioration of her health.

"I was married at an early age of 17, and a mother of a toddler at 18+ but my yearn for studies continued with good support from my husband", shares Dr.Bala in an interview with shravani.
Struggles transform you into a superwoman
It was the time of her final exam(BA). Heavily pregnant, she obliged to sincerely attend exam. Alas! She suffered birth pangs within the exam hall itself and was rushed to hospital for delivery. Although her degree was discontinued then, she started her second innings with perfect work-life balance attaining M.A, B.Ed and M.Ed. Her journey embarked with a pre-primary teacher job, and Today, she holds a Doctorate (PhD) in Psychology. A rich 38yrs of teaching experience in various schools and colleges, Dr. Bala has also rendered her service at DPS school, Dubai for about 10yrs. Currently, an acting principle at Pasha College Of Education, Dr. Bala is also a practicing psychologist at Dubai.

Today, she is an epitome of excellence and inspiration to the millions of teachers and trainees around the globe." When Life serves you a platter of difficulties just believe in your inner self. Let nobody tarnish your identity. YOU ARE A WOMAN and allow nobody to defy your integrity. At times a woman should say NO to certain things, and prioritize her works. I urge women to devote time for themselves which is efficient for stress management", she elucidates. A teaching profession is a life long process acclimatizing learning and updating with the current strategies. Our Indian culture depicts "Gurur saakshaath parabramha !" A professor has potential to mould a student, and lay foundation of success for entire life hence, they're worshiped. No such profession is as devotional as this.
