Grab the sandwich peter, yummy isn't it ??This pizza has an extra crunch of cheese and it is melting heavens !!! Let us order babycorn, chicken burger. Hey wait, Iron man is on screen again alas !! In Interval we hurriedly occupied our seats with a big tray of puffs and cool drinks!! Swear by, it was a fun day out watching movie and binging on our staple food !!

                        "Okay girls see you, really had oddles of fun" i got down car and waved them goodbye.

" oh baby,you are back early, i cooked steamed beans, spinach porridge and fried rice let us dine" said my mom.

" My sweetheart why do you strain in culinary stuff ,i have already bought cheese dumplings, hot saviours and confectionery along let us satiate our hunger craves,i will dish it out" 


                           " I said NO, do you even understand how detrimental effects these junk foods cause on one's health ekta? Look at you, haven't you realised that u have become healthier?? Iam not going to be lenient anymore wipe the junk off from my kitchen immediately" ordered my Mom.

                                    I banged the door in anger and lay on bed sobbing as i was restricted to eat only the home made grass stuff and asked to ruminate like cows !!! We had a kitty party too the next two weeks and we has Rendezvous with mughlai, thai , Italian cuisines and i almost forgot how home made food even tasted !!!

                              
After 6 months...

               "Ekta, you have received a courier today check it out !!" Yeyy it was my designer oufit which i ordered 6mnths back at eminent fasion designer, was equally excited to wear the attire.


                              Alas !! The attire wasn't fitting me well..tears rolled out. Now what do i wear at my fresher's party ?? Mom was right i actually put on oddles of weight which went unnoticed and i kept on binging. I lay perplexed and skipped the party altogether and felt depressed and deserted myself. Now i could realise why mom was against my foodie etiquettes.
                      
                             I started alienating from friends and was irregular to college and got more conscious about my weight gain and lost my entire confidence.

                                   Mom booked an appointment with psychiatrist as well, while i was attended counselling sessions i realised the essence of " Balanced diet and good food etiquettes". I started getting better and then somebody suggested me to follow "Intermittent Fasting".

                            Intermittent fasting (IF) is an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating. It doesn’t specify which foods you should eat but rather when you should eat them.In this respect, it’s not a diet in the conventional sense but more accurately described as an eating pattern.

The 16/8 method: Also called the Leangains protocol, it involves skipping breakfast and restricting your daily eating period to 8 hours, such as 1–9 p.m. Then you fast for 16 hours in between.


Eat-Stop-Eat: This involves fasting for 24 hours, once or twice a week, for example by not eating from dinner one day until dinner the next day.


The 5:2 diet: With this methods, you consume only 500–600 calories on two non-consecutive days of the week, but eat normally the other 5 days.

After a couple of months:

I know my mirror doesn't lie to me !!! Today when i donned my fasion designer's exquisite attire, i looked resplendent with a healthy body more precisely a healthy and happy soul with which boasted my confidence levels to face the world with heads high !!! All thanks to Intermittent fasting.
Intermittent fasting may slightly boost metabolism while helping you eat fewer calories. It’s a very effective way to lose weight and belly fat.
